Why are some apologizing for calling out Trump and his minions.

Thank you Governor for saying what needs to be said by those who have a platform.

In many ways professed leaders in the church, journalists, elected officials who have been sworn in the serve the people and up hold the Constitution have been silent.

Wasn’t the same thing going on in Germany during the rise and institution of Nazism?

DJT and his cronies are a disgrace and a scourge upon our country and the world

As a former resident of Illinois, I am proud of Gov. Pritzker. I happily voted for him twice before we moved out of state. Glad that he is pushing back. Hope more governors will follow his example.

Yesterday, I saw Governor J.B. Pritzker say what needed to be said of these perilous times. He spoke the truth. It was one of the best speeches I have seen in many years. This man is a leader. He recognizes the threats of this moment in our history. Many people are not capable of doing that. His speech reminded me of the words of warning & regret of German pastor Martin Niemoller. I urge all Americans to read the poetic version of his confessional speech of 1946. What was warned of then, is exactly what is happening now. Gov. Pritzker has sounded the alarm. Now, it is the time for all good Americans to answer that call. We must join together, step forward and save this American democracy! Duty calls & we must respond with full determination!!!

Good idea but Trump is incapable of hearing any truth.

Totally agree—he’s been in his own reality bubble for years now, and he’s mastered the art of spinning everything into a personal win or a “witch hunt.” The scary part is how many people buy into it without question. Do you think it's denial, fear, or just flat-out manipulation that keeps them clinging on?

Straight up truth. Looks like it’s up to governors to lead the resistance. Pritzker is spot on bullseye.

Seems to me that Governor Pritzker would make a hell of a smart choice for a POTUS candidate, if we can manage to ever scrape Trump out of the White House, that is. Just imagine going from no brains to a really big brain.

Trump's going to have to be dragged out of there kicking and screaming. Out however is where he needs to be

Sir, thank you for being aware of the problem-that orange blob in the White House has his head stuck so far up his behind that he sees nothing and “knows” less! Thank God someone like you is there!

So well said. Failing at things is not caused by other people, it’s just how life is. And it’s a good thing. It’s how we grow and learn. Those who blame others, instead of learning from their mistakes, are causing themselves to be ‘losers’. Trump himself is one of the world’s biggest losers, he has spent his whole life gradually relinquishing any shred of decency, integrity and humanity that he may once have possessed. Instead of nurturing those good traits he discarded them like so much garbage and now he is what he created.

If Gov Pritzker hates Nazis he should order an urgent transparent forensic paper audit in his state to blow the lid off the clown’s vote-switching hack of the tabulators.

Then someone with power should verify the vote instead of asking voters to trust them when lies and disinformation are everywhere. Don’t miss your bus or my vote. How foolish will you feel if you live long rnough to learn I’m right because enough of us ignore people who tell us to give up on asking the powerful to prove the criminals didn’t steal votes along with democracy. Quitter.
